LIMITATIONS
The software is intended for engineering design, analysis and troubleshooting. It is not accurate enough for scientific study or research. Four or fewer significant figures should be assumed.
NOTE
Someone else is to check and confirm all engineering calculations using independent means before results are considered accurate. One common area often overlooked in assessing engineering information is the basis. A result is valuable only if the context in which it is valid is known. Document any assumptions and limits applicable to your data and calculations. Calculated values do not necessarily represent reality. Very often all the factors affecting a calculation or design are not known. Conservatism in design is prudent to account for the unknown and unpredictable. The information in the PETS® help file is intended as a guide. There is no substitute for qualified engineering analysis.
