Process Engineering ToolS software is licensed using an internet-based eLicense service. When users open the software, the application pings a third-party licensing server to check if an application seat is available. The licensing service is again pinged to return the seat when the user closes the application. These ‘floating seats’ allow multiple potential users to install the software, while limiting access depending on the number of seats for each application. This application will allow 3 users to access Software at a time.
